Client Portal Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of the Atlanta's Baby Consultants client portal at birth-bridge.com (the "Portal"). The Portal is operated by Atlanta's Baby Consultants ("ABC," "we," "us"), a doula and maternal support agency serving Metro Atlanta.

The Portal is a private tool for ABC clients and staff. Through it you may review proposals, sign your service agreement, make payments, view receipts and documents, track your pregnancy, time contractions, share your birth plan, and request appointments with your doula.

By opening a link we send you, signing in, or using the Portal, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Portal and contact us at info@ababyconsultant.com or (470) 794-2229.

The Portal is how we deliver and record your care paperwork. It is not your service agreement. Your services, fees, payment schedule, cancellation and refund terms, and doula withdrawal terms are set only by the service agreement you sign. If these Terms and your signed agreement conflict, your signed agreement controls.

Proposals shown in the Portal are offers. A proposal becomes binding only when you accept it and sign the resulting service agreement. A proposal that has been replaced by a revision, voided, or has expired cannot be accepted.

You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding agreement. The Portal is for ABC clients, their designated support persons where we have allowed access, and ABC staff and doulas. It is not open to the public, and we do not offer self-registration.

We send proposals, agreements, and invoices by email as private links. Each link works only for the document it was created for. Treat these links like a password: do not forward or post them. Anyone holding your link may be able to view that document.

If you sign in to the Portal, keep your login private and tell us right away at info@ababyconsultant.com if you think someone else has used it. You are responsible for keeping your email account secure, because that is where we send links and verification codes.

Please keep your email address current with us. If it changes, we will send new links to the new address and the old links will stop working.

You may sign your service agreement electronically in the Portal. Before signing, you will be asked to consent to receive records and sign electronically. Your electronic signature has the same legal effect as a handwritten signature under the federal Electronic Signatures in Global and National Commerce Act (ESIGN) and the Georgia Uniform Electronic Transactions Act.

To confirm your identity, we email a one-time verification code to the address on your client record. You will also initial each key section, type your full legal name, and answer any required choices, such as the Photography Release.

When you sign, the Portal records the date and time, your IP address, network type, browser and device details, the verification code event, and a digital fingerprint (SHA-256 hash) of the signed document. These records are attached to your agreement as a Certificate of Completion. Once signed, the agreement is locked and cannot be changed. ABC then countersigns, and you receive the fully executed copy by email.

You may withdraw consent to electronic records at any time by emailing info@ababyconsultant.com. Withdrawing consent does not affect documents already signed. You may request a paper copy of any signed document at no charge.

To use the Portal you need a current web browser, an email account, and the ability to open PDF files.

Payments in the Portal are processed by Square. Depending on what is available to you, you may pay by credit or debit card, Google Pay, Apple Pay, Cash App Pay, or Afterpay. Square's own terms apply to how it processes your payment, and Afterpay's terms apply if you choose Afterpay. We never see or store your full card number.

Before each payment, you will confirm that you authorize the charge under your signed service agreement. We record that authorization with the date and time and the IP address used. Your bank may ask you to complete an extra verification step.

Amounts and due dates come from your signed agreement. Reminders, past-due notices, and any pause in services for non-payment follow that agreement.

If you believe a charge is wrong, contact us first at info@ababyconsultant.com or (470) 794-2229 so we can resolve it quickly. Refunds are issued only as your signed agreement provides, back to the original payment method.

If you dispute a charge with your bank or card issuer, we may provide your signed agreement, its Certificate of Completion, your payment authorizations, email delivery records, and records of services provided in response. Filing a dispute does not cancel any balance owed under your agreement.

Doulas provide emotional, physical, and informational support. They do not provide medical care, diagnose conditions, or replace your physician, midwife, or other licensed provider. Nothing in the Portal is medical advice.

The pregnancy tracker, contraction timer, birth plan, and daily affirmations are informational and supportive tools only. Starting the contraction timer notifies your doula team, but it is not an emergency service and may be delayed by technical issues. Always follow your provider's instructions for when to call them or go to your birth location.

If you think you or your baby are having an emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room. Do not rely on the Portal.

You agree not to:

• Share your private links or login with anyone you do not want to see your documents
• Enter information that is false or that belongs to someone else without their permission
• Try to access another client's records or any part of the Portal you were not invited to
• Interfere with the Portal's security or operation, or upload harmful code
• Use the Portal for any unlawful purpose

We may suspend Portal access to protect clients, staff, or the Portal. Suspending Portal access does not by itself end your service agreement; we will contact you to arrange another way to deliver your documents.

The Portal, the Atlanta's Baby Consultants name and logo, and our forms, templates, and educational content belong to ABC. You may download and keep copies of your own documents and receipts. You keep ownership of the information you enter, such as your birth plan, and you allow us to store and use it to provide your care.

We work to keep the Portal available and accurate, but it may be unavailable at times for maintenance or reasons outside our control. If you cannot reach the Portal when something is due, contact us and we will provide another way to sign or pay. The Portal is provided "as is" to the fullest extent Georgia law allows.

To the fullest extent the law allows, ABC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Portal itself, such as an outage or a delayed email. This section does not limit our obligations under your signed service agreement or any right you have that cannot be waived by law.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia. If a disagreement arises, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it informally. If we cannot resolve it informally, any legal action relating to these Terms or the Portal will be brought in the courts of Rockdale County, Georgia.

We may update these Terms. The effective date at the top will change, and material changes will be posted in the Portal or emailed to active clients. Changes never alter a service agreement you have already signed.
